Is being spiritual perceived as being part of a cult?
If
any of my friends are wondering what's with me sharing so many of video
talks with Sadhguru, if I have joined the "Sadhguru Cult of Shiva
worshippers" or just plain become a Spiritual Junkie let me assure you,
one and all, I have not. I am exactly the same Facebook friend you have
known and loved. I just love to delve into everything I am attracted to
and what Sadhguru does with the Isha Foundation has truly impressed me
as he has as one of the greatest Spiritual Masters of our time.
Being spiritually inclined is my nature, and while I sometimes claim to be on a Spiritual Quest, I am actually struggling to cope with life itself.
I love to follow anyone that makes sense, and as we all know, such people are hard to find. Many may seem wonderful, but a little familiarity and all that changes too soon.
Here Sadhguru is at Google; the authority most would presume has a take on anything and everything, Google that is, and he is engaged with them, in a conversation on Consciousness - Layers of the mind - Types of Memory.

I have realized Sadhguru, with just 2.5 million followers, is one man that deserves a lot more respect, even after being held in high esteem already, the world over, for which Spiritual Master have we truly known, that is a pragmatic human being too, actively involved in ensuring he makes a difference, with his peaceful armies of volunteers, his wealthy followers too, that want to make a difference under his guidance, that arrive to join the ranks, to Rally for Rivers, to Save our Planet, work for the upliftment of the Girl child with Education, promote talent, alleviate hunger and suffering while Helping his followers all to succeed, encouraging them to contribute to social causes.
Like all other spiritualists, his critics, idiots all, dare to criticize him, but then that is the way it has always been since times immemorial.
This Wise will follow this Master this time around, be they poor or be they wealthy, for Sadhguru, a mortal in the form a spiritual master, has come to lead us, all across the world, from darkness unto light.
